Deadline: January 12, 2026

Applications are open for the YouthxYouth Global Learning Festival 2026. YouthxYouth, a global collaborative of youth activists and adult allies working towards reimagination and transformation of education for collective liberation, is hosting its 6th and final Learning from January 22nd-24th, 2025.

At the festival, there will be opportunities to connect and network with young activists from around the world, hear about learnings and challenges from the team, and look at the pedagogy and resources they have co-created over the years. It is an invitation to celebrate, dream and reimagine, together.

About the Program

The annual Learning Festival is a convergence of dedicated beings from all over the globe dedicated to learning, imagining, and weaving with one another in service of education transformation. This hybrid gathering, occurring every January around the International Day of Education in partnership with Learning Planet Institute, is a space committed to fostering a sense of belonging, learning, and co-action among all who engage both online and in-person in our Glocal Hubs. Each year, the festival focuses on one learning question that guides us through the 3-day learning journey from What Is to What If and culminating with What Now. They host multiple sessions from Activist Classrooms to Community Gardens and even an Open Mic!

Eligibility

  • They invite everyone and anyone – community members, weavers and organisers, friends, allies, and fellow dreamers.
  • Anyone is eligible given they are a youth activist, adult ally, or feel drawn to transformative education and collective liberation.
