The inspiration behind the initiative came directly from learners, particularly young Afghan women and girls who consistently expressed their determination to learn despite restrictive and discouraging conditions. Many reached out with a simple request not to stop teaching them. Their resilience and commitment transformed empathy into action and reinforced the belief that small, consistent efforts can lead to meaningful solutions. This experience also highlighted that young people need more than academic knowledge. They require practical skills such as English for communication, digital literacy for remote learning and work, and the confidence to navigate uncertain futures.
