Deadline: April 17, 2026

Applications are invited for the AGORA 2026. AGORA is the European Women’s Lobby (EWL) Young Feminists’ Summer Camp, bringing young women from all over Europe to Brussels for a 5-day gathering to discuss and explore all issues related to feminism for young women today and to learn from each other in preparation for future feminist leaders.

Established in 2015, AGORA celebrated its 10th anniversary last year, marking a decade of engagement with young women aged 18-30 across Europe and a growing alumnae network of around 290 participants. The overall theme of AGORA is violence against women and girls, with overarching topics and workshops organised throughout the week.

Costs

  • The EWL covers programme costs, including travel, accommodation, and meals in Brussels. Participants organise their own travel to and from Brussels, with reimbursement based on EU guidelines. As a result, some participants might be required to cover a portion of their travel costs. They will not exclude anyone on the basis of their ability to pay. If you are selected, they will provide more information about how to apply for reimbursement.

Eligibility

  • You a feminist woman between 18 and 30 years old (at the time of the camp)
  • You currently live in the European Union. Unfortunately, they are not able to sponsor visas.
  • You have a good level of English (B2)
  • You are committed to Women’s Rights and Gender Equality
  • You are willing to use what you learn during AGORA in your future activism, community, or professional work
  • You are motivated to connect, share experiences, and build solidarity with other young feminists from across Europe
  • You agree with the values and mission of the European Women’s Lobby

As an intersectional feminist organisation, they are committed to organising a summer camp that reflects and includes experiences that represent Europe in all its diversity. As such, women of colour and from ethnic minority groups, women with disabilities, from the LGBTQI+ community and marginalised groups are especially encouraged to apply.
