Applications are open for the elea Talent Program 2026. The elea Talent Program (eTP) is directed towards motivated and talented university graduates. As an Associate at elea you will get exposure to the global entrepreneurship sphere and gain work experience in different countries across the globe, while at the same time experience training, coaching, and continuous support from the whole elea team.
In 2026, elea is recruiting its first cohort in South Africa, a significant milestone in strengthening their global team. By developing local talent with close connections to the markets they work in, they both enhance their ability to identify, understand, and support entrepreneurial solutions where they matter most, and create meaningful employment opportunities in the region. The South Africa cohort will join elea in January 2027.
Eligibility
- They are looking for candidates who hold a valid work permit for South Africa, live in and/or have grown up on the African continent, and have a maximum of 2 years of work experience.
- The program is designed for individuals with an Honours degree and limited work experience. Those with a Bachelor’s degree may also apply, provided they bring especially relevant experience and a strong drive to develop along a steep learning curve.
- Candidates holding a Master’s degree under the ECTS framework – equivalent to a four-year undergraduate qualification – are equally welcome. Note that candidates with a PhD or MBA cannot be considered.
Selection Criteria
- They are looking for highly talented candidates with outstanding analytical and conceptual skills, a creative problem-solving attitude, and a high degree of initiative.
- A global mindset, a passion for working across diverse cultures, and a demonstrable interest in impact investing are essential.
- Strong candidates manage demanding workloads with superior attention to detail, communicate effectively, and bring a genuine ability to reflect on their own development.
- English proficiency is required. Additional language skills – such as Kiswahili, French, or any other language widely spoken on the African continent – are an asset.
