Softchoice Charity Accelerator Program 2026

Applications are open for the Charity Accelerator Program 2026. The Softchoice Charity Accelerator Program is a pro bono engagement where they support a technology project at your organization – and allow you to focus your time on advancing your charitable mission.

This program is open to small charities (generally, less than $4M in revenue and fewer than 20 employees) in Canada and the US who are addressing inequality, advancing diversity and inclusion, or building inclusive and engaged communities.

Benefits

  • Through the Charity Accelerator Program, charities can apply to have a dedicated team of Softchoice volunteers provide up to 100 hours of technology services support and up to $10,000 of in-kind product or services.

Eligibility

To be eligible, your charity must meet the following criteria:

  • Charitable mission is focused on advancing diversity and inclusion, responding to inequality, and/or building inclusive and engaged communities;
  • Charitable registration status/designation in Canada or the United States (in Canada registered with the CRA or in the US, a 501(c)(3) organization that is a public Charity);
  • In operation for a minimum of 4 years;
  • Governance structure with at least 3 Board members;
  • Generally, annual revenue is less than $4 million;
  • Generally, fewer than 20 full-time employees;
  • Must have full support of the Board and executive director/sponsor for the Project;
  • Willing to participate in a post-implementation survey/case study to demonstrate the impact the Project made on your organization.
