Applications are open for the GIZ South Africa Ideas Competition for Employment Promotion in Just Energy Transition Value Chains 2026. GIZ South Africa invites emerging and small NPOs/CBOs/NGOs and similar organizations to submit project proposals to an Ideas Competition focused on creating employment and income opportunities within South Africa’s Just Energy Transition, for: youth, women, and persons with disabilities.
The Ideas Competition for Employment Promotion in Just Energy Transition Value Chains is implemented by GFA Consulting on behalf of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmBh.
Benefits
- Successful applicants will receive funding, together with capacity-building support, to implement innovative and scalable solutions in the Skills Development Zones in Mpumalanga, Northern Cape, and Eastern Cape.
Eligibility
- Open to emerging and small NPOs/CBOs/NGOs and similar organizations;
- Be based in South Africa.
