Applications are open for the AINBI National Advisory Council on Inclusive AI and Black Innovation 2026. The AI Nexus for Black Innovators (AINBI) National Advisory Council on Inclusive AI and Black Innovation brings together leaders and experts who care about Black participation, leadership, innovation, and opportunity in artificial intelligence. Council members help guide AINBI’s national policy work, identify emerging gaps and opportunities, strengthen partnerships, and bring Black perspectives into important conversations about AI.

Eligibility
- They welcome leaders and experts from a range of fields, including artificial intelligence and technology, public policy and government, research and academia, entrepreneurship and innovation, finance and investment, responsible AI, workforce development, social services, and community leadership.
- Be a Canadian resident.
Commitment
- Four Virtual Meetings Per Year: Council members participate in approximately four virtual meetings each year.
- Optional Policy Engagement: Members may have opportunities to contribute to consultations, roundtables, research, and public discussions.
- Flexible Participation: Additional participation depends on members’ interests, availability, and areas of expertise.
