Applications for the UNDP Czech Challenge Fund 2026 are now open. The Czech-UNDP Partnership for Sustainable Development Goals Project aims to respond to the development challenges by transferring expertise and innovative solutions for SDGs to partner countries.
The objective of the Czech Challenge Fund: Innovations for SDGs is to facilitate the transfer of know-how and innovative solutions that would address development challenges in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Republic of Moldova, and contribute to the achievement of SDGs.
Funding
- Estimated prize: ranging between US$20,000 and US$40,000, the applicants provide additional co-funding of at least 20% of the total cost of the project.
Eligibility
- The eligible applicants include the private sector, NGOs, universities, state institutions or research centres.
- The applicants are required to engage local partners to assure viability in local conditions and to promote the sustainability and scalability of the solution.
- Target countries include Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Republic of Moldova.
Application
The application will be accepted only if:
- is submitted on the correct form, completed in full;
- presents a budget in conformity with the call for proposal;
- budget sheet is signed by the person authorized to enter into legally binding commitments on behalf of the applicant organization and attached to the application;
- meets the submission arrangements set out in the call for proposal;
- is submitted by the deadline.
