Google Ireland Scholarship for Women in Computer Science 2027 (€5,000 award)

Applications are invited for the Google Ireland Scholarship for Women in Computer Science 2027. Scholarship: Google Ireland for Women in Computer Science was established to help aspiring computer scientists excel in technology and become leaders in the field. The scholarship will be awarded based on the strength of each candidate’s demonstrated leadership, and academic background. The program is open to qualified students who meet all the minimum qualifications.

Scholarship

  • Selected students will receive a 5,000 EUR award for two consecutive years of their undergraduate studies.

Eligibility

To be eligible to apply, applicants must:

  • Be currently enrolled as a first or second year undergraduate student at a university in Ireland for the 2026-2027 academic year.
  • Intend to continue pursuing their Bachelors degree at a university in Ireland for at least the 2027-2028 and 2028-2029 academic years. 
  • Be studying computer science, computer engineering, or a closely related technical field.
  • Demonstrate leadership.
  • Demonstrate a strong academic record.
  • Children of Google employees are NOT eligible to apply.
