Applications are invited for the Aspen Strategy Group (ASG) Rising Leaders Program 2027. The Aspen Strategy Group (ASG) has been strongly committed to cultivating the next generation of leaders in national security and foreign policy—formally and informally—since its inception in 1984.
In 2021, they solidified these efforts and launched the ASG Rising Leaders Program that brings together young professionals to contribute to the conversation on critical foreign policy issues while honing their leadership skills. The year-long program gives participants the unique opportunity to learn from key decision-makers—and each other—under the aegis of the Aspen Strategy Group.
Over the course of the program, participants:
- Develop and hone their leadership skills
- Attend the Aspen Security Forums in Aspen, CO, and Washington, DC
- Participate in a multipart Gildenhorn Rising Leaders Aspen Seminar
- Join discussions with preeminent foreign policy experts
- Co-author policy papers with their peers for publication
