The Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies, Migration Policy Centre at the European University Institute has put out an advertisement for appointment of a Research Assistant. The Research Assistant will contribute to designing, carrying out and analysing an international survey on the links between migrants’ integration, their mobility between the origin and destination countries and the various economic transfers they generate.

Location: The selected candidate will be based in Florence, Italy
Length of contract:
Initial contract up to 31/12/14, starting as soon as possible. The contract may be renewed until 30/11/15. Full time. Monthly net salary to be agreed according to the professional experience (range between 2,000-2,500 euro net per month).
Qualifications
- PhD or MA + 5 years professional experience in statistics or quantitative social science,
- Proven skills and experience in conducting surveys.
- Proficient knowledge of English. Knowledge of French or Italian would be an asset.
