Are you a talented musician looking forward to get famous on the African scene ? The StarAfrica Sounds contest is for you! StarAfrica.com has launched the 2nd edition of the StarAfrica Sounds music contest, in partnership with Deezer and Zimbalam. The contest aims to highlight the new musical talents of the continent, notably through the distribution of their songs on the main streaming and downloading streaming platforms.
Competition Process
Candidates are invited to apply to StarAfrica and reveal to the public an original song and their musical universe after which internet users would vote for their favorite candidates. The 5 candidates with the highest number of votes are selected for the final stage. Then, a jury of professionals gets on stage and designate the contest winner, made public on StarAfrica.com on July 8th.

Prizes
Be the StarAfrica Sounds 2013 new talent and win a special highlight on StarAfrica.com and Deezer plus your song distributed on the main digital platforms thanks to Zimbalam!
The prizes will be the following ones:
- 1st price : A dedicated highlight on Starafrica.com and Deezer Africa and North Africa, an introduction to the music label Musiki, a Deezer for Artists certified account with a one year free access to « Deezer premium + » and the distribution up to 3 albums via Zimbalam
- -2nd, 3rd, 4th et 5th prices : a Deezer for Artists certified account with a one year free access to « Deezer premium + » and the distribution up to 3 albums via Zimbalam
