The PES Group invites entries for the sixth edition of its “Europe, I’ve got something to tell you” annual photo competition. This contest challenges amateur photographers to capture in a photo their expectations from Europe. It might be about building Europe together, being a European citizen, or showing us how you envisage your place in Europe. The Competition is organised under the theme: “Europe, I have someting to tell you”, in the framework of 2013, European Year of Citizens.
Eligibility
In order to enter the competition, you must fulfill the following conditions:
- Be resident in one of the 27 EU Member States (but participants of any nationality can enter);.
- Be 18 years old or older at the moment when you enter the competition;
- Compliance with the theme of the competition is compulsory. Participants should illustrate through a photography what they expect from the EU.
- Only one entry per participant is allowed;
- For amateur only! Professional photographers and anyone else working in the field of photography will be automatically excluded from the competition.
Prizes
The best entries will be awarded the following:
- First prize: A 3 days trip for two persons to Brussels, capital of Europe, and photographic/electronic equipment worth 2000€.
- Second prize: A 3 days trip for two persons to Brussels, capital of Europe, and photographic/electronic equipment worth 1500€.
- Third prize: A 3 days trip for two persons to Brussels, capital of Europe, and photographic/electronic equipment worth 500€.
- Prize of the public – NEW: A 3 days trip for two persons to Brussels, the capital of Europe, and photographic or electronic equipment worth 500€.
