Togolese youth: Apply now to this amazing competitive grant! ILO’s Youth Employment Network (YEN) has launched the 2013 Youth to Youth Fund in Togo. The 2013 competition is seeking applications from youth-led non-profit organizations to pilot and replicate innovative projects. The Youth to Youth Fund aims to create decent and productive jobs through entrepreneurship. It is a competitive grant and capacity building scheme that enables youth-led non-profit organizations to pilot and replicate innovative projects that create employment for young people by helping them set up small and micro enterprises in niche markets.
Benefits
The YEN, in partnership with UNIDO and support from the German Federal for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), will provide grants of $ 10,000 – 30,000 dollars and capacity building support to best applicants. Grantees will implement innovative youth employment projects. Through the Youth to Youth Fund youth move from being passive beneficiaries and become active participants in tackling the youth employment challenge.
The Fund is made up of 2 funding windows :
- Innovation window: The applying youth led organisation submit a new and innovative business idea which can provide decent and sustainable employment for youth
- Replication window: The applying youth led organisation can select a business idea which was tested in Togo or outside and explain how it would use it in order to implement a project which could help create or expand youth employment generating micro enterprises.
Eligibility
Applicants are officially registered; non-governmental, non-profit youth led organisations in Togo.
