This is a once in a lifetime opportunity, to represent your country in the first ever Student Energy Summit held in Africa. The Summit will be held in Cape town, South Africa from the 19th-20th of June, 2014. It will bring together students from all parts of the continent.
This is the first time on African soil when about 300 young and aspiring African leaders would gather to learn and discuss the future of energy in Africa. You could be one of them, and the opportunity starts here. Pre-register for the AfSES 2014 event.
About the Summit
The Africa Student Energy Summit (ASES) is summit is an initiative of the Student Energy movement – a global organization that is consistently inspiring young leaders towards a sustainable energy future across the world. It is supported by the Green Shift Africa Forum.
This is the first time on African soil when a summit that directly targets young African leaders would be addressing energy issues. The summit would attract about 300 student delegates from different parts of the continent and beyond, professionals and leaders of industry in the energy sector, academia as well as policy makers and political leaders would converge to debate, deliberate and proffer solutions to one of Africa’s most challenging problems.
