Are you the founder of a non-profit or social business that exists to help South Africans out of poverty? Is your social business or organisation in its early years and already making a difference for people? If so, Spark South Africa has an incredible opportunity for you!
The Spark* Changemakers Program is a powerful opportunity for passionate South Africans who are at the early stages of building social businesses or non-profit organisations. The Changemakers will come together for a one-week intensive entrepreneurship training taking place in Johannesburg from the 4th -9th of April 2014.
For their April 2014 intake, Spark* South Africa is looking for 18 of the country’s most exciting emerging changemakers! They partner with you as you launch projects and lead initiatives designed to improve the lives of people across the country.
Benefits
You have the chance to attend the five day ACCELERATOR, access the global NETWORK and apply for USD$1000 – $2000 grants for your projects.
You will be required to organise your own transport to the Accelerator in Johannesburg. Once there, Spark* will cover your food and accommodation for the duration of the week.
Eligibility
The Spark* Changemaker program is for you if you:
- are the founder of a non-profit organisation, for profit business or social enterprise that exists to improve the lives of people living in poverty.
- have highlighted a key problem or opportunity that you are trying to solve.
- are an individual who can get things done, and have proven this in the past.
- are massively passionate about improving the lives of people living in poverty in South Africa.
