Deadline: July 31, 2014

Interested applicants are invited to apply for the Iversity Scholartrip to their dream destination to study online for free including winning a Macbook air.

Iversity believes in the transformative power of online education! That’s why Iversity wants to enable as many people as possible to benefit from the free online courses being available! Unfortunately, reaching out to millions of people around the globe is easier said than done.

The winner of the scholartrip will be chosen and notified after the closing date. The prize has to be claimed within 30 days of notification. You will have to embark on your scholartrip within 24 months of claiming the prize. If you choose to participate in the scholartrip lottery any user referred or chapter completed during the above time frame will count towards your total score. In other words if you decide to join on 30 July, nothing’s lost.

Applicants responsibility:

  • Take a course!
    • Whenever you watch a video in one of your courses Iversity records that you’ve made some progress. From now on every chapter you complete counts in the Scholartrip lottery.
  • Invite your friends!
    • Invite your friends to take one of the free courses available. You will receive one point for every friend of yours that signs up using your personal invitation link. The more the merrier!
  • Study together!
    • All of the chapters your friends complete count towards your total score. So you can increase your chances of winning the iversity STUDY ANYWHERE Scholartrip by studying together.

Eligibility:

  • You have to have at least completed one chapter and referred one friend to be eligible to win
  • if you are a natural person of legal age at the time of entry.
  • The competition is not open to employees (or members of their immediate families) of iversity GmbH and/or one or more of its shareholders.
  • Winners are expected to take an iversity course during their scholartrip and to report about their learning experience. They may choose not to reveal their full name, but are expected to provide a written account of what they have learned, their trip as well as photos, drawings or video material that documents their experience. These material may be used in full or in parts by iversity for promotional activities e.g. on social media.

Benefits:

  • Studying on Iversity does not tie you to a specific location. You can study anywhere and they are giving you everything you need to do just that: a flight, a Macbook and some pocket money.
  • The benefits for the Scholartrip winner would include:
    • 1500€ Travel Allowance to a destination of your choice;
    • 4500€ Bursary a stipend of 1500 € per month for room and board for up to three months. This stipend is meant to permit you to live comfortably during your time abroad as well as to enable you to explore your destination;
    • purchase of a brand new MacBook
