German Universities of Applied Sciences (UAS7) is offering Architecture Internships. The Internship Program (IP) is available for students interested in hands-on research opportunities at a German university of applied sciences.
UAS7 is a strategic alliance of seven leading German Universities of Applied Sciences committed to excellence in teaching and research. UAS7 stands for well-established and future-oriented degree programs ‘made in Germany’ and commitment to programs of professional relevance.
The alliance members collaborate with more than 1400 university partners worldwide. Internships offered by UAS7 member faculty allow IP participants to work alongside teams in our campus research laboratories and institutes.
Responsibility:
- Cooperation in the reseach focus Corporate Architecture and the associated laboratories for CAD,
- Plot and medias of the CIAD at the department of Architecture of the Cologne UAS.
- Interns should have sufficient English-language skills to function in an international scientific environment.
Benefits:
- Successful applicants are eligible for the UAS7 Travel Scholarship
- Interns will get 1000€ contribution to travel expenses for program participation. A full tuition waiver and other program benefits are also included.
Eligibility:
- Interns should have sufficient English-language skills to function in an international scientific environment.
- Prior laboratory experience (academic or otherwise)
- Sufficient English fluency to function in an international scientific work environment
- Degree-seeking student at an accredited U.S. or Canadian college or university (U.S. or Canadian citizenship not required)
- Strong academic record; demonstrated preparation for the proposed internship.
- Knowledge in certain fields of architecture is prerequisite, as for example: architectural presentation, visualization, CAD/CAM, model assembly, architectural photography, exhibition construction. BA in architecture is not required but would be an advantage.
