The 2014 edition of the DStv Eutelsat Star Awards is now open. The DStv Eutelsat Star Awards are positioned to be Africa’s leading satellite technology awards for young minds. The primary aim is to stimulate interest and passion for satellite technology amongst young people. The competition is organised by MultiChoice Africa and Eutelsat. Entrants are required to write an essay or produce a poster on the following topic:

Enter the awards by creating an award winning essay or poster about satellite technology and how it shapes your world and you can win big!

Topic: Imagine you are a satellite

Imagine you are a satellite high above your country, your home, or even your school …
What would you see?
What would you like to tell the people below about what you see from up there?
What would you like people to know?
What would you like them to think about?
If you could send them a message or an image, what would you like to say or show?
