Are you a top application developer? Then enter the Mobile Web Africa Competition in Johannesburg, South Africa. At the AppCircus event 10 developer entrepeneurs will have the opportunity to pitch their app live on stage in front of a jury of top experts. The winning app will receive the following prizes sponsored by Intel.
AppCircus brings together the global community of app makers through its event and online incubation platform. In only 3 years, AppCircus has organized more than 100 events in cities in over 30 countries, building a community with over 20.000 users. The event give visibility to new app talent on a local and global scale.
Prizes

- A runner-up prize
- The chance to showcase your app and your work to the leading players in the mobile ecosystem in Africa
- The winner will receive:
- Free entrance to Mobile Web Africa 2014
- A flight to Barcelona, a ticket to Mobile World Congress 2015 and a chance to compete for the grand prize

Eligibility
- Submissions and presentations to AppCircus are FREE and open to any developer, startup or company.
- All participants must be 18 or older. Underage participants will be considered with written acknowledgement from their parents or legal guardians.
Competition pattern
- Before the competition you’ll load up your presentation and check everything out
- You’ll get 3 minutes to present your app during the App Developer Competition; you can include a video in your presentation
- When all the finalists have presented, a panel of judges will vote for the overall winner
- The Chairperson will announce the winner, then and there
- Prizes will be awarded to all finalists
