Are you an international student who is currently studying in Holland? Then this is your chance! Join the new online video contest for a chance to win great prizes! What connects you to Holland? Show your Dutch favourite in a video selfie!
A selection of all the entries that meet the requirements will be mixed into one funky video! If your entry gets selected for the final video, by a prize draw, you can win one of the great prizes like a Dutch design bike, a GoPro Camera or an evening canal cruise for 5 in Amsterdam.
Prizes
First Prize – A Van Moof design bike: A low maintenance, weatherproof and no hassle bike that will help you to move around town faster, more confidently and….in utmost style!
Second Prize – GoPro HERO3 White edition: Make sure you capture all of your adventures with this GoPro action camera!

Eligibility and Criteria
You should:
- be an international students currently studying in the Netherlands at a higher education institution that has signed the Code of Conduct;
- submit your video selfie before 13 October 2014;
- agree with all our Terms and Conditions.
Your video should:
- be a video selfie, where YOU show your favourite Dutch place, event, sight, dish, person etc.;
- be short and powerful (5 seconds);
- be filmed in a bright space, preferably in outside daylight;
- be filmed in landscape mode;
- have a high resolution (no compression);
- have some space for us to put a title;
- clearly show the object that connects you – say the word, tell us on camera what your Dutch favourite is, preferably in Dutch.
Only entries that fully meet these requirements will be accepted for participation.
How to Submit
Upload your highest quality video file using WeTransfer, Dropbox or any other service that you prefer to [email protected]. Please add the following information:
- your full name;
- your Facebook page, so we can tag you when we upload the file to the Study in Holland Facebook page;
- the Dutch higher education institution where you are currently studying;
- your student number.
