Applications for the ALAT/Wema Bank Hackaholics 5.0 Pitch Competition 2024 are now open. Hackaholics is a youth focused startup competition aimed at providing a platform that enables innovators and startup founders with tech driven or tech enabled game changing ideas and products to grow, and blitz scale their ventures.

Join the largest community of problem-solvers, visionaries, creative thinkers and Innovators in Africa, at the annual Hackaholics Ideathon, and together, catalyze change with the enabling power of Technology. This laudable initiative is powered by Wema Bank/ALAT; one of Nigeria’s Most digitally dominant financial institution. There have been four previous editions, and they are excited to present the 5th edition tagged Meta-Idea.

Prizes

  • Winner: N30M worth of prizes
  • First runner-up: N20M worth of prizes
  • Second Runner-up: N15M worth of prizes
  • Women-led team: N10M worth of prizes
  • University Stem Endowment: N15M worth of prizes

Eligibility

  • Everyone is welcome and can apply. No matter if you are a young entrepreneur, a professional, or a student.
  • You don’t have to be a programmer and you certainly don’t need to have a degree in Computer Science.
