The DREAM Project aims to strengthen cooperation between universities and regions, by enabling students and staff from EU and ACP regions access to postgraduate and staff exchange mobilities. To achieve this, the DREAM project brings together 49 institutions including European Universities and ACP Countries’ Higher Education Institutions
Eligibility
- Candidates must be a national of ACP countries (list of countries/regions)
- Candidates who are enrolled or have a formal link with a partner University at the time of application. (See list of Partner Institutions)
- Candidates that are not enrolled or have a formal link with a partner University. This can be applicants who are registered at another institution of the ACP eligible countries; alumni from a partner University.
- Candidates in a particularly vulnerable situation for social and political reasons. (Note: Only Full Master’s available to those applicants)
- Eligible Areas of Study: Agriculture Sciences, Architecture Urban and Regional Planning,Art and Design,Business Studies, Management Science Education, Teacher Training, Engineering, Technology, Geography, Geology Humanities,Languages and Philological Sciences Law,Mathematics, Informatics, Medical Sciences,Natural Sciences,Social Sciences Communication and Information Sciences, Other Areas of Study
Scholarship Worth/Benefits
Every selected applicant also benefits from a two-way flight ticket and full health, accident and travel insurance for the duration of the mobility.
Students are not required to pay any tuition or other fees at the host university, since participation costs are covered by the project
The available scholarships includes:
ACP Candidates
- Master’s awards are available in 2 types:
Full Master’s – 24 months or 2 academic years’ duration Master’s Mobility – 10 month or 1 academic year Master’s scholars receive a monthly stipend of 1.000 €.
- Doctorate awards:
PhD Mobility – 10 months or 1 academic year. PhD scholars receive a monthly stipend of 1.500 €
- Academic and Administrative Staff
Total duration – 1 month
Staff scholars receive a single stipend of 2.500 €.
For EU candidates:
- Academic and Administrative Staff
Total duration – 1 month
Staff scholars receive a single stipend of 2.500 €.

- Select the mobility type in which you are interested
- Narrow down your chosen academic offer
- Ensure that you have the language and academic requirements for the host
- Collect all the necessary documents
