Deadline: June 30, 2025

Applications are open for the Moonshot Pirates Shape the Future Challenge 2025. Are you between 15 and 24? Join the Shape the Future Challenge to team up with passionate peers and world-class mentors to tackle one of our planet’s greatest challenges—climate change!

Whether you’re innovating breakthroughs in clean energy, reimagining urban mobility, or designing circular solutions, they want YOUR BOLD ideas. Gain valuable skills, expert guidance, powerful tools, and a global platform to showcase your solutions. Connect, collaborate, and grow alongside inspiring changemakers worldwide.

Challenge

This is where the real adventure begins! You and your team will dive into solving one of the biggest challenges of our time: Climate!

This is not your typical competition; the real race here is against climate change. At Moonshot Pirates, they believe in lifting each other up. You’ll get access to inspiring videos, hands-on workshops, and mentoring from global leaders—all designed to help you grow, learn, and make an impact.

Benefits

  • The team with the best idea selected during the final pitching will be invited to fly with the Moonshot Pirates Crew to Dubai. During this 1-week trip, you’ll explore one of the world’s most innovative hubs for sustainability and entrepreneurship. The trip includes flights from a major airport close to you, accommodation, and visits to pioneering climate tech spaces, visionary founders, and innovation centers.

Eligibility

  • Young people aged 15-24 worldwide can participate in the challenge.
  • The challenge program is entirely in the English language. A good understanding and ability to communicate are a must.
  • To join the challenge, each participant must apply individually. Once accepted, you can either team up with people you know or connect with participants on the platform. If you’re planning to apply as a team, every member must submit their own individual application. If you apply solo, you’ll gain access to the challenge space where you can meet and form teams with participants from around the globe. Teams must consist of 2 to 6 members to be eligible for the challenge.

Application

  • Apply as an individual or team, with or without an idea, until June 30 (midnight UTC)
  • Receive your acceptance email to the challenge on July 1
  • Get invited to the challenge space on the Moonshot Pirates platform
