The European Data Laboratory for Comparative Social Research – EUROLAB is pleased to invite applications for research visits. Individual researchers, who carry out international comparative social research using survey data provided by the GESIS Data Archive for the Social Sciences, may apply for support to access EUROLAB for maximum one month between September and December 2015. An international selection panel will evaluate the applications on a competitive basis. The applications will be assessed depending on the expected scientific merits.
The EUROLAB at the GESIS – Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences in Cologne is a European Data Laboratory for Comparative Social Research. Established in 1996 by Dr. H.C. Ekkehard Mochmann, it is an access facility to the data in the archive holdings from all fields of empirical social research. EUROLAB offers support for individual researchers and research groups who want to work at the EUROLAB in Cologne, e.g. during sabbaticals or research fellowships, or within specific research projects.
Fellowship
- Fellowship provides travel grant of up to 450 Euro and accommodation for successful applicants.
Eligibility
Open to individual researchers, who carry out comparative social research using survey data stored in the GESIS Data Archive for the Social Sciences.
