How to manage a public organization and its staff? How to manage your financial resources? What should I do with my IT system? Health managers of sub-national health sectors around the world are faced daily with these and other types of managerial questions. WBI’s Health System Strengthening Program has developed an online management course applied to the health care system. This course will discuss, in an interactive and facilitated manner, the application of public sector management principles and experiences to health management at the sub-national level in developing countries.
The six modules cover:
- strategic management and planning,
- financing,
- managing people,
- information technology,
- strategic communications, and
- managing change.
