The OSTEN 47th World Gallery Of Cartoons Skopje 2016 is now open for applications from all cartoonists. OSTEN’s World Gallery of Cartoons is the one and only event of such provenance in the Republic of Macedonia, the oldest in the Balkan and one of the most long-standing in the world. Entries can be cartoons, satirical drawings or comics but must be original work of the applicant. The theme and technique is free.
Prizes
Prizes available include:
- Grand Prix for life achievement – $5000;
- First award for cartoon – $1000;
- First award for satiric drawing – $1000;
- First award for comic/strip – $1000;
- 10 Special awards – Plaque;
- Award CICO – for Macedonian Cartoonist.

Professional, semi-professional and amateur cartoonists around the world can apply.
