These scholarships are undertaken at selected teaching hospitals in the Beit beneficial area in accordance with medical protocols set out by the College of Surgeons of East, Central and Southern Africa (COSECSA). Beit funding covers the costs of registration, enrolment, exam fees, international travel to COSECSA seminars, a computer, graduation costs at two levels, and a personal stipend. Membership of COSECSA may be gained after 2 years study (MSC), with Fellowship after 5 years (FSC). For details of how to apply, please contact the COSECSA offices in Arusha, Tanzania at [email protected] or for further information visit their web site at www.cosecsa.org
Please note that a separate selection and sponsorship mechanism applies. Please see theProspectus page of the web site www.cosecsa.org, or details can be obtained directly from:

Note: There is no academic difference between shared Postgraduate Scholarships and solely Beit-funded Postgraduate Scholarships, but, for economic and pastoral reasons, selection boards generally favour partner-universities.
