Deadline: October 17, 2017

NextBillion is now accepting applications for the third cohort of their mentorship program for graduating students with disabilities. Cohort 3 is a 4-week, online mentorship program. Each mentee will be matched with an industry mentor based on personal stories & preferences to build a strong personal resume and learn how to interview for engineering roles in the technology industry.

The theme for this Cohort is “Job-preparation” – together (as mentorship pairs), and as a community, they’ll work to support each mentee in building a strong personal resume, and practice how to interview for a role in the tech industry. The cohort curriculum includes weekly resources & action items, webinars with industry speakers/guests, and will guide each mentorship pair on resume-building, applying for jobs and internships, phone screens and practicing in-person interviews.

How it Works

  1. Personal Mentorship: Get matched with industry professionals based on your story and join a community of like-minded individuals passionate about technology.
  2. Guided curriculum: Work with your mentor & the community to go through specific curriculum for people with disabilities & prepare for the technology industry.
  3. Industry Insight: They invite guests, speakers & leaders from the industry to share their insights on getting into the field of technology.
