The Future Project Accelerate Labs 2018 for SMEs in Nigeria

Applications are open for the 2018 Accelerate Labs for SMEs in Nigeria. Accelerating the Economy through Youth in Enterprise (Accelerate Labs). Accelerate Labs aims to build and empower young citizens that are willing to contribute to the development in Nigeria. It is initiated by The Future Project with support from Microsoft Nigeria and other regional partners.

The project goal is to equip 2,160 youths (across the 6 geopolitical zones in Nigeria) in one year by building socially inclined, high profit, highly competitive enterprise capable of impacting the GDP. At the end of one year, Accelerate Labs will empower youths to develop empathy, find clarity of purpose and the needed resources build socially responsible enterprises in their communities. With the new businesses that will be supported through trainings and mentorship, there are immense opportunities to create jobs and also provide young entrepreneurs wider access to useful knowledge and strategies in building more successful businesses.

Eligibility

  • Open to young Nigerians between 18 – 35
  • Applicants must have a viable business idea, or an existing enterprise.
