Deadline: October 14, 2022
Applications are invited for the Accountability Incubator Programme 2023. The 2023 Accountability Incubator is looking for the very best ideas from young people for accountability, participation and open government. The Incubator is Accountability Lab’s flagship programme for young change-makers to build sustainable, effective tools for change.
This year they are looking for ideas under the theme of “Global Challenges, Local Solutions”. Your project would need to fall under one of four sub-themes including participation, inclusion, digital governance or environmental accountability.
The Incubator provides a non-prescriptive, yet supportive environment for creative, enterprising individuals who bring innovative ideas to inspire accountability in their communities.
Benefits
- Selected “accountapreneurs” receive a year of hands-on, comprehensive support including: training and knowledge-building, mentoring, network building, and media outreach support.
Eligibility
- Applicants applying to the programme must be residents of one of the eligible countries – Liberia, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Uganda, or Zimbabwe.
- Women, people with disabilities and other minority groups are encouraged to apply.
Application
All applicants will be evaluated by the Incubator staff and the Accountability Incubator Lab mentorship board based on the questions in the application form and a subsequent interview for shortlisted candidates. The submission of a 1-minute video is optional but advisable to strengthen your application.
Applications should be submitted by 11:59 PM ET on October 14, 2022.
