Opportunity Desk and OneAfricanChild have partnered to host the conference “Evolve 2023: Turning Your Strengths To Opportunities” on 8th March. This conference aims to inspire and empower young people, especially women changemakers and entrepreneurs with the tools and confidence they need to succeed in this digital era. The goal for this conference is to help young women discover a path to better themselves and create a sense of connection, community and belonging through experience sharing from high achievers.

Evolve 2023 is held in commemoration of this year’s International Women’s Day, which focuses on how technology and education in the digital age can help the empowerment of women and girls across the world. This will be a fun, inspiring, and empowering event that will help women and girls reach their full potential.

Objectives 

  • Inspire and mentor young women to turn their strengths into opportunities through the exchange of ideas and information.
  • Raise awareness on the importance of digital literacy and promote equal opportunities for women and girls in technology and education.
  • Provide a platform for young and emerging women social entrepreneurs and changemakers to share their experiences and connect with one another to create a sense of community and belonging 
  • Celebrate International Women’s Day and recognize the achievements of women and girls around the world.
  • Feature stories from industry experts on leading with confidence and building relevance in today’s world
