Heirs Life Essay Championship 2023 for Secondary School Students in Nigeria (Win N2,000,000 scholarship)

Applications for the Heirs Life Essay Championship 2023 are now open. The Heirs Life Essay Championship is an annual essay competition organised by Heirs Life to encourage literacy among young students while rewarding their creativity.

This year’s edition is open to students in Junior Secondary Schools across Nigeria, and they get to participate for a chance to win N2,000,000 worth of scholarship, exciting prizes for the Winner’s school, and the runner-ups. The topic for the 2023 Essay Championship is My Dream Career.

Prizes

  • The winning student gets Scholarship worth N2,000,000.
  • The winning school will be rewarded with the 2023 Heirs Life Essay Championship cup, as well as N500,000 donation to the school’s library.
  • First Runner up (student) will receive cash prize of N150,000.
  • Second Runner up (student) will receive cash prize of N100,000.

Eligibility

  • Open to students in JSS1 – JSS3 across Nigeria.
  • The entry must be on the Topic: My Dream Career.
  • Maximum word count is 500 words.

Application

  • Essay document must have Child’s Full Name, School & Class in the Header.
  • Essays should be typed and not handwritten.
  • Font Type: Times New Roman.
  • Font Size: 13/14.
  • Document Format: Word/PDF.
