Applications for the DevCareer Tech Program 2023 are now open. DevCareer, a non-profit organization, partners with UK-Nigeria Tech Hub to upskill 1700 technology enthusiasts through the DevCareer tech program. Their goal at DevCareer is to support underrepresented tech talents entering the industry by providing resources, scholarships in collaboration with learning platforms, fostering an inclusive community, and exploring innovative approaches.
The DevCareer tech program is a 6-month program in Nigeria, catering to individuals seeking growth in their software development careers. Participants will receive training in Software Development, Product Management, and Product Design. Mentors will provide guidance and support throughout the program.
This comprehensive program offers virtual live classes, peer learning sessions, training workshops, and visual learning content through a Learning Management System. It emphasizes both curricular and extracurricular activities, including hands-on project-based learning and regular assessments to measure participants’ progress.

Eligibility
- The DevCareer tech program welcomes young people from all communities in Nigeria, regardless of gender or educational background.
- The program is geared towards newbie and intermediate-level techies who wish to take a big leap in their budding careers in the dynamic world of technology, at no cost.
Application
In this program, participants will enter into a guided learning at an average of 15hour/week commitment level. The component of the 6-month long program is 100% virtual; think of workshops, live classes, peer learning sessions, LMS, mentorship etc. Task-based approach to learning will be employed as such assessment, quizzes, tests, and projects will be conducted at healthy intervals.
