Applications are open for the Senator Abiru Innovation Lab (SAIL) Teachers Fellowship 2024. SAIL is a unique space that offers cross-functional programmes and opportunities, as well as a basic foundation that can inspire young people in Nigeria (students, graduates, entrepreneurs, job seekers) to gather, learn and create solutions.
The SAIL Teachers’ Fellowship (STF) is a partnership programme with the MTN Foundation, designed to empower teachers in public primary and secondary schools across Nigeria with the skills required to effectively prepare 21st-century learners for the future of work.
The SAIL Teachers’ Fellowship is a rigorous three-month continuous professional development programme that brings together 4000 teachers from across the 36 states in Nigeria to improve their agency through a tailored curriculum that focuses on innovative teaching methodologies, classroom management practices and the use of technology for teaching and learning.
Eligiblity
- Open to teachers in public primary or secondary schools in Nigeria;
- Demonstrate the ability and willingness to learn and participate actively in the programme;
- Have smartphones in good working conditions;
- Have access to reliable internet;
- Will be fully available to participate in the Fellowship.
Application
The deadline for application is February 17, 2024. Applications submitted after this deadline will not be considered.
