Applications are open for the Leaders of Leaders Africa Fellowship 2024. The Leaders of Leaders Fellowship (LOLA Fellowship) is a leadership accelerator championed by the Bluvard Education Initiative designed to equip young aspiring African dreamers and doers with the skills and knowledge they need to become enablers of change in their communities.
Through this fellowship, they are advancing sustainable leadership education to young people in hard-to-reach African countries so that no one is left behind in the race to build the Africa of our dreams toward a more sustainable future. The fellowship offers a 15-week leadership development training and personalized mentorship for young aspiring leaders, activists and entrepreneurs across Africa facilitated by international and experienced professionals in the development sector and a practical experiential fieldwork.

Young leaders will:
- Have access to an array of global experts that would serve as a mentor. Facilitators and mentors of previous cohort includes the Global Lead on Disability and Development at UNICEF, Gopal Mitra, the former COO of the Philanthropy Advisors, Kelsi Kriitmaa and many more.
- Have the opportunity to individually lead projects that would have a significant impact on the lives of young people around them.
- Have the opportunity to learn project management, systems thinking, non-profit management, fundraising and other leadership skills.
- Receive free one-on-one non-profit consultation services.
- Be given a certificate of completion and a recommendation letter to help them with future applications where required.
Eligibility
Open to young leader who:
- Are between the ages of 18 to 30 by the time of the application;
- Are available to dedicate 15 weeks to this program;
- Have a minimum of 2 years experience either as a social entrepreneur or in the non-profit sector;
- Are passionate about making a difference in their society;
- Are proficient in speaking, reading and writing in English;
- Are residents of East Africa, West Africa and South Africa.
