Applications for the Africa Impact Finance Initiative Grant 2024 are now open. The grant giving portfolio aims to provide fair, transparent and equitable distribution of funds to projects across Africa. The number of grants given per round will depend on the availability of funds.
In 2020, the Africa Impact Finance Initiative (Africa IFI) was founded by Rhodes Scholars in residence to help support the initiative, passion and hard work of African people in Africa. They hope to harness the privileged access to Rhodes alumni networks, Oxford’s international community, as well as an international public of socially responsible organisations, corporations and individual donors, to raise funds and to distribute them to community-oriented projects on the African continent in accordance with their carefully designed constitution.
Funding
- Up to £1,500 GBP is available.
Eligibility
- The organization applying for the grant is operating out of the African continent.
- The project aims to improve the education of children or young adults up to the age of 25.
- The organization has been operational for a period of 12 months.
- The organization is community-based.
Application
- The outcome of each round will be announced approximately 1-2 months after the closure of applications.
- All successful applicants will be required to provide a report detailing the project outcome and use of funds within 3 months of the project conclusion.
- With regret, no consideration will be given to applications submitted after this deadline or incomplete applications.
