Applications are open for the Open FinHack International Fintech Hackathon 2024. You to participate in Open FinHack, the international financial technology hackathon from April 9 to 13, Online! By joining the Open FinHack hackathon, you will collaborate with innovators, IT specialists, designers, and industry experts to develop groundbreaking solutions to make financial services safer, more inclusive, and accessible.
By participating, you will:
- Create innovative solutions – This hackathon is a great chance to tackle current challenges in financial services by proposing solutions in areas such as crowdfunding, fraud detection, blockchain and smart contracts, data analytics, personalised financial services, and financial literacy.

Eligibility
- Open to people of all job descriptions, whether you’re a designer, developer, marketer, entrepreneur or project manager. Diverse groups often work incredibly well together to produce the best results.
- Participants in the hackathon must be at least 18 years old and either citizens of the UK, European Union (EU) and the European Economic Area (EEA) or possess a valid permit to live and work in these regions.
Application
To participate in the hackathon, submissions can be either ideas or established teams. It’s important to note that each submission, whether an idea or a team, must consist of a minimum of two members to be eligible for participate in the hackathon. This requirement is in place to encourage collaboration and ensure that each project has a diverse range of skills and perspectives right from the start.
