Applications are open for the Global Youth Awards 2024. The Global Youth Awards supports and showcases youth aged 11-25 who are leading inspirational projects for social and environmental impact around the world. The awards are held annually in London in November and live-streamed globally to reach the 74 countries that they have now received nominations from.
They have created the awards to provide support, experiences, personal development and a global network of opportunities for all. The categories you can nominate someone for are Education, Environment, Empowerment & Creativity. Each of the categories has three sub-categories of Leadership, Innovation and Change.
The Global Youth Awards are delivered as part of RoundTable Global charity, The Legacy Project and in partnership with Beyond Bamboo.
Benefits
- An invitation to become a Global Change Ambassador after the awards with access to the Legacy Project Global network for collaborations, events, mentoring and training.
- The winners are invited to be involved with future awards with a variety of roles available including judging, hosting, performing and speaking.
Eligibility
- Open to youth around the world.
- To qualify nominees must be 25 years of age or under on November 31, 2024.
- They are excited to hear about projects that are going beyond sustainability to restore and regenerate the global eco-system. Tell them about your environmental projects and innovations.
- They need to re-imagine the way that young people learn and develop ensuring that this learning is inclusive for everyone. If you are doing anything to innovate or transform education, they want to hear from you.
- Their empowerment goal is focused on ensuring that everyone has equal access to opportunities and knowledge. They are specifically interested in projects that empower women and young people.
- Creative Rejuvenation has a goal of not only addressing the stigma around being ‘creative’, but the importance of combining creativity and movement. They love creative projects that have a strong message.
