Applications are open for the ARIJ Awards for Arab Investigative Journalism 2024. During its annual forum, ARIJ honors distinguished Arab investigative reports, and celebrates the integrity and professionalism of male and female journalists who participate in creating professional standards.
This year, 2024, the award is once again in its fifteenth year, open to all male and female journalists from all Arab countries, and Arabs residing abroad who have produced investigations in the Arabic language, whether produced in cooperation with the ARIJ Network or in cooperation with any other parties.
Awards
The award includes the following categories:
- Best Arab Investigative Report – Gold Award
- Best Arab Investigative Report – Silver Award
- Best Arab Investigative Report – Bronze Award
There is no cash prize, but the first ten winners will be given an invitation to participate in the annual ARIJ Forum in person – as much as possible – which is an Arab and international training and networking forum. The award will also provide moral appreciation that will give the journalist a broad Arab and international networking in the future
Eligibility
- Open to all male and female journalists who have published/broadcast their investigations in the Arabic language via any platform.
- All types of writing, digital, audio/radio and television, in all forms, templates and durations are welcome.
- Investigations submitted for participation must be in the Arabic language and must have been published or broadcast between September 5, 2023 to August 31, 2024.

Application
Investigations published/broadcast between September 5, 2023 and August 31, 2024 will be accepted. The deadline for application is August 31, 2024.
