Applications are open for the Breaking into Venture Program – Fall 2024. The 9-week program is designed to prepare early-career professionals for a successful transition into Venture Capital at the Analyst, Associate, and Senior Associate levels.
The program includes:
- Curriculum/ Programming: Tailored content and bi-weekly lessons are the foundation for scaling the venture capital learning curve. Seasoned investors and industry experts will provide nuanced guidance and insights.
- Individualized Mentorship: Participants are paired with senior-level and junior-level venture capital professionals for mentorship. Weekly mentor check-ins enable BiV participants to receive guidance and coaching as they design their personal roadmap into venture capital, learn about the venture capital industry, and build their network.
- Project-Based Learning: Thesis building and hands-on learning is designed to help refine industry prospectives and apply weekly learnings.

- Sourcing and Supporting Entrepreneurs
Eligibility
- Individuals who identify as Black or African American;
- Early career professionals that completed their undergraduate degree within the last 5 years;
- Ideal candidates have 1–5 years of full-time work experience, are actively looking to transition into VC, and do not have active VC offers when filling out the application.
