Applications are open for the Chicago Council on Global Affairs Emerging Leaders Program Class of 2025. Through the Emerging Leaders Program at the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, you can deepen your understanding of global issues and cultivate the skills you need to step into your future as a global leader in Chicago.
For one year, 20 of Chicago’s best and brightest, ages 35-45, from some of the city’s most prominent organizations, engage in a rigorous program to further their knowledge of US foreign policy and global affairs and strengthen their leadership skills. Grounded in that experience, they join a circle of globally fluent Chicago leaders for a lifetime of connection and impact.

Eligibility
- You should be between the ages of 35 and 45 and located in Chicagoland.
- You should also be highly accomplished in your career and expect to rise to the top of your fields in the private, nonprofit, or public sectors in the next five to ten years.
- They intentionally seek exceptional leaders who reflect Chicago’s rich diversity.
