Applications are open for the Airbus Scholarship to Attend One Young World Summit 2024. Airbus is proud to partner with One Young World to identify and connect an interdisciplinary team of 5 committed young leaders who are working on innovative climate adaptation and resilience solutions, or enabling social equity through education, skills development or employability solutions, to participate in the One Young World Summit 2024, which takes place in Montréal, Canada, from 18 – 21 September.
Scholars will participate in the Summit as members of Airbus’ delegation and can participate in follow-up sessions with Airbus to help scale and accelerate their initiatives.
Scholarship
Airbus Scholars will receive:
- Access to the One Young World Summit 2024 in Montréal, Canada.
- Hotel accommodation in Montréal between 17 – 21 September (inclusive) 2024.
- The cost of travel to and from Montréal (flights in economy).
- Catering which includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
- Transport between the Summit accommodation and the Summit venue.
Eligibility
Candidates must be:
- Aged 18 – 30;
- Nationals of one of the following countries: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, SAR, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Papua New Guinea, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Samoa, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Solomon Islands, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, United Kingdom, United States.
Application
Most delegates are between the ages of 18 and 30. The One Young World team will consider applications from those who are older than 30, pending demonstration of appropriate personal impact, initiative, and willingness to engage. They are not able to accept applications from those who will be aged under 18 at the time of the Summit.
