Deadline: August 1, 2024

Join in transforming modern education! Apply to Start a Curiosity Club. As a Curiosity Club Guide, you’ll lead peers in a groundbreaking program that emphasizes curiosity-driven, collaborative learning. Receive training, ongoing support, and a €500 budget to create impactful projects. Be a part of the change—fostering intrinsic motivation and personal growth in a supportive, student-led environment.

As a guide, your roles include the following:

  • Run weekly sessions: Start by organizing and running weekly Curiosity Club sessions in your community. Find a suitable time and place, promote the club, and invite people to join as learners.
  • Guide others through learning: You are not a teacher, you are a Guide. Encourage learners to explore and discover information on their own. If asked a question, it’s okay to suggest asking a peer.
  • Stay curious: Show genuine interest in learners’ projects. Participate in activities, share your own curiosities, and inspire others by being an enthusiastic learner yourself.
  • Contribute to the community: Engage with the larger Curiosity Club community. Share ideas, resources, and experiences with other Guides and clubs, and support fellow learners.
  • Fail forwards: Mistakes are learning opportunities. When things don’t go as planned, analyze what went wrong, brainstorm new strategies, and try again. Embracing failure leads to growth and improvement.

Benefits

  • Transform education in your community: Give people the space to learn the things they are genuinely interested in.
  • €500 Budget: Get financial support to cover initial expenses and resources for your club’s activities and projects.
  • Curiosity Club App Access: Utilize the app for managing your club efficiently, accessing resources, and collaborating with other clubs.
  • Grow your Leadership: Benefit from weekly sessions every Saturday at 14:00 UTC, personalized one-on-one coaching, and the full-day Guide Training Experience to help you succeed.
  • Join a Global Community: Connect with passionate individuals worldwide committed to fostering curiosity and lifelong learning.
