Applications are open for the African Union 6th Region Youth Volunteer Program 2024. The African Union 6th Region Youth Division Volunteer Program is a prestigious initiative designed to engage and empower young leaders globally. This program offers a unique platform for personal and professional growth through leadership development, networking opportunities, and hands-on experience.

Volunteers will work closely with the 6th region of African Union, participating in impactful projects and collaborating with youth leaders from diverse backgrounds. The program focuses on areas such as communication, design and creativity, information technology, writing, community management, and program coordination, providing volunteers with invaluable experience and opportunities to drive positive change, promote African unity, and contribute to global youth and development discourses.

Eligibility

  • Open to individuals between the ages of 18 and 38.
  • Applicants must have completed college or university, either in Africa or abroad.
  • They seek individuals who are dedicated to driving positive change, promoting African unity, and contributing to the global discourse on youth and development.
  • Applicants should demonstrate a strong commitment to the African Union’s agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
  • Candidates with skills and experience in communication, design and creativity, information technology, writing, community management, or program coordination are encouraged to apply.
  • The program values diversity and encourages applications from individuals of different backgrounds, cultures, and perspectives.
