Applications are open for the Learning PlanetYouth Design Challenge 2024-2025. The Learning Planet Youth Design Challenge is an annual global initiative encouraging young individuals aged 15-26 to pitch their ideas for innovative learning programmes for their dream university. This is your chance to make a real impact on the future of learning!
Participants can pitch programmes on one of the following themes:
- Engagement: community engagement, inclusion, social justice and peacebuilding
- Flourishing: well-being, thriving and socio-emotional development
- Sustainability: planetary health and regenerative economy
Benefits
- First prize $1,000 USD, Second prize: $500 USD.
- The 12 finalists will receive regular mentorship from a global network of industries (from Education to Investment to Design…), across 2025, with the goal of implementing their programmes.
- Finalists will have the opportunity to pitch their programme at global summits for education and social impact over 2025.

Evaluation Criteria
Proposals will be evaluated by an independent jury based on:
- Originality / Innovativeness: How unique and innovative is your learning program?
- Need: What specific need does your learning program address?
- 20% Feasibility: How achievable is your learning program?
- 20% Impact: What impact will your program have on participants and the community?
- 20% Quality of Presentation: How clearly and effectively is your program communicated?
