Deadline: November 1, 2024
Applications are invited for the Fresh Voices Fellowship 2025. Epiphany journal’s Fresh Voices Fellowship is back for 2025, offering a unique opportunity to break into the literary world without the traditional academic credentials. The Fresh Voices Fellowship supports one emerging Black, Indigenous, Latinx, Asian, or other writer of color who does not have an MFA in creative writing nor an advanced English degree (MA, PhD), and is not currently enrolled in a degree-granting program.
Epiphany is a semiannual print and online literary journal and an independent nonprofit 501(c)(3) that supports practicing writers at every stage of their careers. During their open reading periods they consider every submission seriously. With their Breakout contest and Fresh Voices Fellowship they honor both student writers and writers of color. They also publish online essays, fiction, and poetry on a rolling basis. For 20 years they have published work that transcends convention and demonstrates literary mastery.
