Are you an innovative leader committed to leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) to solve Africa’s challenges? Do you want to lead the conversation on AI and innovation in your community, while gaining access to a global network of change agents? Apply for the Global AI Council Africa Ambassador Program 2024.

The Global AI Council Africa Ambassador Program is designed for individuals who are passionate about creating impactful solutions through AI. Ambassadors will work to foster AI innovation, raise awareness, and advocate for responsible AI use that meets Africa’s unique socio-economic needs. Ambassadors will serve as the critical link between AI communities, innovators, and policymakers in Africa and across the world.

Benefits

As an ambassador, you will be empowered to:

  • Lead AI Advocacy Efforts: Be a spokesperson for the responsible development and use of AI, advocating for policies that promote innovation and inclusion in Africa.

Eligibility

To apply, you must:

  • Be between 18 and 35 years old at the time of application.
  • Be a citizen and resident of an African country.
  • Have a proven track record of leadership in AI, technology, or innovation-related fields.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to social impact and AI-driven solutions.

They are looking for young leaders who meet the following criteria:

  • Proven Leadership: Demonstrated leadership abilities in your community, organization, or sector.
  • Passion for AI: A strong commitment to using AI to drive social and economic change across Africa.
  • Commitment to Ethics and Inclusion: Dedication to promoting fair, inclusive, and responsible AI practices that ensure the technology benefits everyone.
  • Desire to Learn & Share: Eagerness to collaborate with others, exchange ideas, and build a future where AI enhances human potential.
