Applications are open for the Bolanle Olufolake Opeyokun Scholarship Trust Fund 2024/2025. The Bolanle Olufolake Opeyokun Scholarship Trust awards scholarships to Nigerian female students in their second year of undergraduate studies at any Nigerian federal university. The scholarship specifically supports students pursuing degrees in Information and Computer Technology (ICT) fields.

The purpose of the Trust is to continue the values and passion that Bolanle Olufolake Opeyokun embodied and exhibited in her hobbies, her career, her commitment to God and her dream to have more women working within the technology field. The trust is a beacon of hope dedicated to empowering the next generation of female scholars and leaders. They are a philanthropic organization committed to fostering academic excellence and unlocking the potential of bright minds through the power of education.

Scholarship

  • Scholarship awards will be granted to 2 recipients on an annual basis, to cover tuition fees and educational expense (up to an agreed amount) for each recipient for the official duration of their study as prescribed by their selected institution of study.

Eligibility

Applicants must be female students pursuing ICT degrees at a Nigerian Federal University and meet the following criteria:

  • Must have completed at least their first year of study.

Selection Criteria

  • Academic Excellence: Candidates with a proven track record of outstanding academic performance and a commitment to continuous learning will be given priority.
