Applications are open for the THRIVE – Upskilling Program for Women 2025. THRIVE is a free 9-month upskilling program for women who have experienced forced migration and now live in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland. In this new cycle of THRIVE, 250 women currently living in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland will receive training in Data Analytics and Applied Artificial Intelligence (AI) – fields where skilled professionals are in high demand.
Data Analytics: Master essential data analytics and business intelligence skills to work in any industry.
You will learn to:
- Use advanced spreadsheet functions in Excel and Google Sheets.
- Manage and manipulate datasets with SQL.
- Visualize data using tools like Tableau, or Power BI.
- Communicate insights effectively to support decision-making.
Applied AI: Prepare for the “Age of Artificial Intelligence” and develop impactful AI solutions for business.
You will learn to:
- Program in Python for data manipulation, visualization, and machine learning.
- Understand core AI concepts and their applications in industries.
- Explore AI ethics and evaluate AI’s societal impact.
- Build and deploy machine learning models using real-world datasets.

Eligibility
- You are a woman who has experienced forced displacement (refugee, asylum seeker, person with temporary protection, or forced migrant).
- You live in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland.
- At least an intermediate level of English (B1) to follow the learning contents.
- You are motivated to study 5 hours per week for 9 months.
